Singapore Changi pax traffic up 9.6% - traffic highlights in Aug-2010:

• Passenger numbers: 3.47 million, +9.6%;
• Aircraft movements: 22,638, +9.1%;

Singapore Changi: "In Aug-2010, traffic to and from Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia continued to lead the growth in passenger traffic. Double-digit growth was recorded for these two regions for the seventh consecutive month. Airlines such as Tiger Airways, Lion Air and Cathay Pacific increased frequencies with more flights to cities such as Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
