CEO: Philadelphia International Airport has approvals in place to commence USD1.8bn cargo expansion

Philadelphia International Airport CEO Rochelle Cameron, speaking at CAPA Live July 2021, stated (14-Jul-2021) the airport already has US regulatory approvals in place to commence its USD1.8 billion air cargo facility expansion project. Ms Cameron also said the airport's cargo programme will seek to address the fact that "Philadelphia only captures about 9% of the available air cargo" in its catchment area, with much of its potential cargo business currently moving "up to the New York airports".
