Cathay Pacific returns final aircraft stored during COVID-19 pandemic

Cathay Pacific returned (06-Jun-2024) the last of 85 aircraft that it placed in storage during the COVID-19 pandemic. The A330 (B-HLV) departed from Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage at Alice Springs Airport on 06-Jun-2024. The aircraft was the first of 76 from Cathay Pacific to enter the storage facility on 28-Jul-2020. The airline confirmed plans to return to 100% of pre-pandemic passenger flight levels in 1Q2025.
