Cam Ranh International COO: Airport is the fastest growing in Vietnam, but growth will slow

Cam Ranh International Terminal JSC COO Sulaiman Zainul Abidin, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit, said (14-Nov-2019) the airport is the fastest growing in Vietnam, with passenger growth of 28% year-on-year for 2018, compared to Vietnamese average of 12%. The airport has experienced "exponential growth over the last four years". Mr Abidin forecast rapid growth will continue, although "the rate may not be as high as it has been in the past few years". He said the airport has sufficient infrastructure to sustain this growth for the next five years.
