Cabo Verde Government to resume majority ownership of Cabo Verde Airlines

Cabo Verde's Council of Ministers approved (25-Jun-2021) the repurchase of the 51% stake in Cabo Verde Airlines that was sold to Loftleidir Cabo Verde in Mar-2019. The Cabo Verde Government stated the repurchase is intended to be temporary and the process of privatising the airline will resume when conditions in the international aviation and tourism market improve.
