The two ATR 72-600 aircraft delivered to Cabo Verde Airlines were sourced from TrueNoord on long-term operating leases, with both aircraft arriving in Praia during Sep-2025 and based at Praia Nelson Mandela International Airport1. Cabo Verde Airlines planned to initially operate the ATRs before transferring them to new domestic carrier Linhas Aéreas de Cabo Verde once certification was achieved2.
