Background ✨
Cabo Verde Airlines experienced significant domestic disruptions from 22-Aug-2025 due to operational issues and fleet limitations, including the removal from service of one ATR 72-500 and one Dash 8-300 after incidents on 31-Aug-2025. It subsequently deployed Boeing 737 equipment, although operations were constrained by domestic airport capabilities, and began negotiations to lease two additional aircraft to support inter-island operations1. Linhas Aéreas de Cabo Verde was recently established to operate domestic inter-island services2.
