CAB issues temporary permit to AirAsia Philippines

Philippines Civil Aeronautics Board issued a temporary operating permit (TOP) to AirAsia Philippines that will allow the carrier to proceed with regular commercial services from Manila Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (Clark International Airport) from Sep-2011 (abs-cbnnews, 29-Aug-2011). The TOP will serve as AirAsia Philippines' provisional authority while it is seeking the issuance of a certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) from the CAB.
