Burkina Faso Government in talks with Airbus on acquiring A220s for Air Burkina

Burkina Faso's Ministry of Transport, Urban Mobility and Road Safety, via its official Facebook account, announced (21-Jan-2021) Minister Vincent Timbindi Dabilgou held a meeting with a delegation from Airbus on 21-Jan-2021. Discussions focused on the acquisition of A220 aircraft. The government plans to acquire A220s as part of the business plan for Air Burkina, in cooperation with American Global Development. Mr Dabilgou stated he is hopeful of concluding an aircraft transaction no later than Jul-2022.
