Burkina Faso is a country in West Africa. This small nation is serviced by two main carriers - Air Burkina, which is the national carrier and Faso Airways that operates charter flights regionally and internationally. Burkina Faso is a member of AIP ASECNA – the agency for air navigation safety in Africa & Madagascar (ASECNA). Ouagadougou Airport is one of the major airports and a hub for Air Burkina. Other airports in this country include Bobo Dioulasso Airport and Bogande Airport. The Directorate of Civil Aviation is the body in charge of the aviation industry in Burkina Faso.
