Brussels Airport: LCC and intra-Europe are best performing segments in Oct, cargo recovery strong

Belgium's Brussels Airport passenger numbers up 1% - traffic highlights for Oct-2013:

• Passenger numbers: 1.7 million, +1.3% year-on-year;

The airport reported (20-Nov-2013) the best performing segment were LCC operations and regular intra-European services while long-haul services again showed positive growth during the month. Transfer passengers increased 1.0% to 130,782. Brussels Airport also noted cargo traffic has been slowly but steadily recovering over the past few months.
