Britten-Norman earlier reported its first fully re-shored UK Islander from Bembridge reached 75% completion, with a second airframe at almost 25% and follow-on components in manufacture, marking the return of full civil Islander manufacturing to the UK after major assemblies were previously made overseas.1 Britten-Norman also outlined plans to ramp output to four aircraft p/a in 2027 and eight p/a by 2029, after last performing full UK manufacturing in 1968.2
