British Airways passenger numbers up 6.8% - traffic highlights in Oct-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 3.0 million, +6.8% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 79.8%, -1.0 ppt;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +6.8%. [more]

British Airways: "In October 2010 traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres, rose by 3.9%. Passenger capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometres, was up 5.2% on October 2009. This resulted in a passenger load factor decrease of 1.0 points versus last year, to 79.8%. Traffic comprised a 4.6% increase in premium traffic and a 3.7% increase in non-premium traffic," Source: Company report, 03-Nov-2010.
