Bombardier revenue down 5%, profits down in 1QFY2011

Bombardier revenue down 5% - financial highlights for the three months ended 30-Apr-2010:

  • Revenue: USD4,246 million, -5.0% year-on-year;
  • Cost of sales: USD3,523 million, -5.6%;
  • EBITDA: USD331 million, -6.8%;
  • EBIT: USD224 million, -4.7%;
  • EBT: USD196 million, -3.0%;
  • Net profit: USD152 million, -2.6%;
  • Order backlog: USD44,400 million, compared to USD43,800 million for the period ended 31-Jan-2010;
    • Bombardier Aerospace: USD17,300 million, compared to USD16,700 million for the period ended 31-Jan-2010;
  • Aircraft orders:
    • Bombardier Aerospace: 61, +577.8%;
  • Aircraft deliveries:
