Bombardier: 'No real replacement on the horizon' for Q400

Bombardier Asia Pacific and China marketing head Ross McKeand, speaking at the CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, stated (12-Jun-2018) turboprop aircraft "have a long economic life ahead of them" because they cannot be easily replaced. Mr McKeand said there is "no real replacement on the horizon" for the Q400 turboprop, resulting in "good residual value" for the aircraft type.
