Boeing wins 442 orders at Paris Air Show; adds 40 more 737 orders from unidentified customers
Boeing VP of international communications Charlie Miller stated (20-Jun-2013) the company enjoyed a strong and productive Paris Air Show launching its newest model, the 787-10, and announced orders and commitments for 442 Boeing aircraft, valued at more than USD66 billion. Boeing won 102 787-10 orders and commitments from five customers:
- Air Lease Corporation: 30;
- GE Capital Aviation Services: 10;
- International Airlines Group/British Airways: 12,
- Singapore Airlines: 30;
- United Airlines: 20.
Additional orders for 20 737NGs and 20 737 MAX aircraft from unidentified customer(s) were posted on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries website on 20-Jun-2013. The number of Boeing net orders for 2013 currently stands at 692. [more - original PR]
