Boeing seeing improved demand, fewer deferrals. Production rates to remain stable

Boeing CEO, Jim McNerney, stated Boeing is seeing improved demand for commercial aircraft and fewer deferral requests from airlines, as economic conditions show signs of improvement, adding, "we have a rebound in our plans over the next couple of years" (Reuters, 11-Feb-2010). He stated production rates are expected to remain stable for the foreseeable future and that the company would not be forced to enter "bad business deals" to keep them steady (Bloomberg, 11-Feb-2010).
