Boeing casts more doubt on future of B787-3

Boeing Commercial Airplanes VP Marketing, Randy Tinseth, stated it would be "far fetched" to consider that the B787-3 would be part of the manufacturer's product offering in the future (AINOnline/Bloomberg, 02-Feb-2010). In Jan-2010, Boeing confirmed it was re-assessing the "market viability" of the B787-3, following a decision by All Nippon Airways, the last remaining customer for the short-range variant, to change its order for 28 aircraft to the baseline B787-8 version.
