Boeing: 737 MAX now operating 24 routes over 2500nm

Boeing reported (22-May-2018) the 737 MAX is now operating 24 routes that are over 2500nm. Norwegian has the longest routes of any MAX operator, with several trans Atlantic routes of more than 3000nm. The carrier operates from Bergen, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh and Shannon to Stewart International Airport (New York) and from Cork, Dublin, Edinburgh and Shannon to Providence T F Green Airport (Rhode Island). Boeing stated almost 80% of narrowbody routes over 2500nm are operated with the 737 MAX and 737 NG. [more - original PR]
