BOC Aviation CEO notes forward planning, stable market in China

BOC Aviation CEO and MD Robert Martin, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation Summit, said (15-Nov-2016) forward planning is the major difference in China compared to other markets, noting the country's plans to build airports and "a very considered approach" to new entrants, resulting in a stable market. Mr Martin said new long haul routes launched by Chinese carriers will survive, especially China-Europe and China-US services, and noted many city pairs are still not served.
