Binter announces order for six additional ATR 72-600s

BinterCanarias signed (15-Jun-2015) an agreement with ATR for the purchase of six new ATR 72-600 aircraft, scheduled for delivery between late 2015 and 2017. The order is in addition to the carrier's previous order for six ATR 72-600 aircraft, announced in Feb-2014. BinterCanarias executive board member Alfredo Morales said: "For nearly two decades, the ATR have proven to be the right choice for Binter's inter-island operations. This additional ATR order underpins our strategic objectives on quality and operational economics.
