Binani Air commenced operations on 11-May-2026 with an Abuja-Lagos service using Embraer E170s, and planned to serve Abuja, Kano, Lagos and Yola.1 Nigeria also broke ground for Xejet's MRO, flight support and engineering facility at Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, while United Nigeria and Cronos Airlines signed an MoU to build another Nigerian MRO.2 Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema said it planned a maintenance hangar, targeting launch by 17-Sep-2025 and completion in 12 to 15 months.3
