BCD Travel VP sales: Coronavirus 'has materially changed the way that we travel'

BCD Travel VP of sales APAC Ben Wedlock, speaking on the CTC Masterclass: Traveller wellbeing in a world in crisis, stated (08-Jul-2020) the coronavirus crisis "has materially changed the way that we travel". Mr Wedlock said the pandemic has changed the passenger experience, with a greater focus on self service and physical distancing, and the entire booking process. He noted booking times have increased to three or four hours of processing due to the additional research and requirements involved.
