Bahrain Air to add Dhaka, Chittagong and Istanbul

Bahrain Air confirmed (01-Mar-2010) plans to launch services to Dhaka and Chittagong, commencing 16-Mar-2010 and Istanbul, commencing 16-Jun-2010. Bahrain Air stated its performance in 2009 was the same as 2008, but expects 2010 to be more promising than 2009. The carrier handled approximately 750,000 passengers during 2009, and plans to carry one million passengers in 2010. The carrier also reiterated its 2011 break even forecast.
