Avianca Argentina scheduled to launch in 1Q2017

Synergy Aerospace announced (15-Nov-2016) plans to launch a subsidiary in Argentina called Avian Lineas Aereas and branded Avianca Argentina. The carrier will operate domestic services in Argentina, having as main hubs Buenos Aires and later in Cordoba. The carrier's fleet will be 12 new 72 seat ATR 72-600 aircraft, with first aircraft scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2016, with entry into service planned for 1Q2017. Synergy Aerospace chairman German Efromovich expressed excitement "about the imminent launch of Avian Líneas Aéreas as an Avianca branded airline."
