Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) reports (22-Apr-2010) the following traffic highlights for Australian domestic airlines in Feb-2010:

• Passenger numbers: 4.0 million, +8.3% year-on-year;
• Load factor: 79.4%, +3.4 ppts;

    • Brisbane-Sydney: 343,605, +8.9%;
    • Gold Coast-Sydney: 199,029, +21.8%;
    • Brisbane-Melbourne: 197,732, +7.5%;
    • Adelaide-Melbourne: 161,044, -3.1%:
    • Adelaide-Sydney: 140,208, +22.1%;
    • Gold Coast-Melbourne: 126,808, +8.0%;
    • Melbourne-Perth: 125,243, -2.1%;
