Australia's BITRE forecasts 4.2% rise in 2029/30 pax across capital city airports
Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) forecast (23-Apr-2010) the number of passenger movements through eight capital city airports to increase by 4.2% year over the forecast period to 235 million in 2029-30.

- Brisbane Airport: 51.2 million, +4.9%;
- Perth Airport: 24.8 million, +4.7%;
- Darwin Airport: 4.1 million, +4.4%;
- Melbourne Airport: 57.7 million, +4.2%;
- Sydney Airport: 72.9 million, +4%;
- Adelaide Airport: 14.1 million, +3.5%;
- Canberra Airport: 6.3 million, +3.5%;
