Australia’s BITRE releases domestic airfare index for Aug-2017, domestic fares down 5%

Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) released (17-Aug-2017) the Domestic Air Fare Index for Aug-2017 which showed the 'Best Discount Fare' Index (Jul-2003 = 100) for domestic travel declined 4.9% year-on-year to 54.7 in Aug-2017.
