US' Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport announced the following traffic highlights in Aug-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 8,363,543, +5.2%;
    • Domestic: 7,398,566, +4.7%;
    • International: 964,977, +9.9%;
  • Cargo volume: 54,429 tonnes, -0.1%;
    • Freight and Express: 52,462, -1.7%;
      • Domestic: 21,751, +2.7%;
      • International: 30,711, -4.7%;
    • Mail: 1967, +80.5%;
  • Aircraft movements: 81,554, -2.9%;
    • Domestic: 75,360, -3.8%;
    • International: 6194, +9.5%.
