ARC: Dollar value of airline tickets sold in 2019 totals USD84bn

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) reported (14-Nov-2019) sales made by US based travel agencies increased 1.5% year-on-year in Oct-2019 and 2.8% for the first 10 months of 2019. The consolidated dollar value of airline tickets sold so far in 2019 is USD84.4 billion, while the average US round trip ticket price in Oct-2019 was USD506, down from USD509 in Oct-2018.
