ANA to change 15 B787-8 orders to B787-9s

All Nippon Airlines' Board of Directors decided (30-Sep-2010) to change 15 of its 55 orders for the B787-8 to the B787-9 model. The B787-9 aircraft is an extended-body version of the 787-8, appropriate for short, mid-haul and long-haul international routes. The model will also meet the increasing need for 400 seat-capacity aircraft for domestic routes. [more]
