ANA calls for support for the whole Japanese aviation industry, not just JAL

All Nippon Airways President, Shinichiro, called on the Japanese Government to focus on reviving Japanese aviation as a whole and maintaining a “fair and equitable competitive environment”, rather than just supporting and rescuing Japan Airlines from bankruptcy (Kyodo News, 10-Nov-2009). Measures ANA suggests could be taken include a permanent and industry-wide lowering of landing fees and aviation fuel charges.
