American Airlines says oneworld does not have domestic China partner, seeks to 'correct over time'

American Airlines CEO Doug Parker, speaking at the CAPA Aviation Summit 2016, stated (12-Apr-2016) oneworld does not have a domestic Chinese partner, which "we'd like to correct over time", but it is "not fatal" at this point. He said it would be "a plus" and provide improved feed to Chinese flights, but noted: "We fly to the really big markets that do not require a tremendous amount of feed". American also has "fantastic partners" in the region that connect to many points in Asia, he stated.
