Amadeus also planned major Seamless Bag Drop deployments elsewhere in Australia, including over 70 S7 Air and S7 Air Hybrid units at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport.1 Perth Airport partnered with Amadeus to introduce biometrics from check-in to boarding, alongside around 100 new kiosks and replacement of approximately 40 traditional counters with Amadeus bag drop units.2 Adelaide Airport’s broader baggage infrastructure was also being upgraded, with Alstef scheduled to complete a multi-phase baggage handling system upgrade by end-2025.3
