Perth Airport previously trialled Amadeus biometric technology with Singapore Airlines to enable touchless journeys from check-in to boarding, aiming to improve passenger flow and reduce processing time and queuing, according to CEO Kevin Brown1. Earlier, the airport converted 16 check-in kiosks to automated bag drops and added 36 new self check-in kiosks, enhancing self-service options in collaboration with Amadeus2.
