Amadeus says average yield on GDS is higher than other bookings

Amadeus IT Group VP of airline commercial John Dabkowksi, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) the GDS is still an efficient, cost effective channel. He said it delivers high quality bookings, while two thirds of bookings are premium in some way. Mr Dabowski also noted average yield tend to be higher, "sometimes 20%- 40% higher."
