Allegiant has low utilisation rate; unique for LCCs

Allegiant VP fleet & corporate finance Robert Neal, speaking at the CAPA Fleet & Finance Summit, stated (02-Mar-2017) the carrier has a low utilisation rate of 5.9 hours per day, which differs from every other LCC operating in the region. Alaska Airlines averages 10.5 hours per day, while JetBlue Airways has an average utilisation rate of around 12 hours, with 12.5 hours per day at Spirit Airlines.
