Alitalia reports EBITDA of EUR43m in 1H2011

Alitalia reports (29-Jul-2011) the following financial highlights for the 6 months ended Jun-2011:

Revenues: EUR1561 million, +7% year-on-year;
EBITDA: EUR43 million, compared with a loss of EUR16 million in p-c-p;
Operating result: (EUR69 million), compared with a loss of EUR129 million in p-c-p;
Net result: (EUR94 million), compared with a loss of EUR164 million in p-c-p;
Passenger numbers: 11.2 million, +5.7%;
