Air Lease Corporation (ALC) executive chairman Steven Udvar-Hazy, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit World & Awards for Excellence, stated (22-Nov-2024) "we have a lot of political undercurrent that damages our industry". Mr Udvar-Hazy stated there is an "idealistic view that... we are the ones destroying the planet".
