Alaska Airlines operating revenue up 9% – financial highlights for the three months ended Mar-2013:

    • Cargo: USD26 million, +6%;
  • Operating costs: USD1069 million, +11%;
    • Fuel: USD381 million, +19%;
    • Labour: USD264 million, +3%;
  • Operating income: USD64 million, -11%;
  • Net income/loss: USD37 million, -11%;
  • Passenger numbers: 6.3 million, +5.8%;
  • Passenger load factor: 85.1%, +0.2 ppt;
  • Passenger yield: USD14.38 cents, stable;
