Airport privatisation a success in Australia

Australia's Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development GM aviation industry policy Stephen Borthwick, speaking at the CAPA Airport Innovation Day Summit, said (03-Aug-2016) airport privatisation is a success in Australia, noting the subsequent investment and innovation would not have happened under government ownership. Mr Borthwick said the current system reflects the outcome of the privatisation process.
