Airbus sees steady Middle East ordering in 2010

Airbus President Middle East, Habib Fekih, forecast steady orders of 40-50 aircraft from Middle East customers in 2010 and deliveries to match or exceed the 70 in the region in 2009 (AFP, 30-Jan-2010). Airbus forecasts 250-300 aircraft orders globally in 2010. Feikh also stated the trend in all regions was that airlines are seeking less vendor finance than expected.
