Airbus: More than 40 new routes have been opened to Iran

Airbus head of marketing Asia & North America Joost van der Haijden, speaking at the CAPA Fleet & Finance Summit, said (03-Mar-2017) the manufacturer believes there is "very strong potential" in the Iranian market. According to Mr van der Haijden, there have been many constraints that face aviation in Iran but many new routes are opening up, with over 40 having opened since the end of sanctions.
