Airbus forecasts Indian carriers to acquire 1,000 aircraft, but deliveries down for 2010

Airbus stated it is now scheduled to deliver 30 aircraft to Indian carriers in 2010 - a reduction from 45 initially scheduled (The Hindu Business Line, 25-Sep-09). Airbus forecasts Indian carriers will acquire 1,000 additional aircraft over the next 20 years and the European manufacturer to have approximately 70% market share in India.
