Airbus commences US production of A220 aircraft

Airbus commenced (05-Aug-2019) manufacturing the A220 aircraft in Mobile, US, after production workers returned from training in Mirabel, Canada. The new facility is scheduled to produce the first US made A220 in 3Q2020 and the facility is estimated to produce between 40 and 50 A220 aircraft p/a "by the middle of the next decade".
