airberlin operating profit up 5% in 3Q2012

airberlin revenue up 1% - financial highlights for three months ended 30-Sep-2012:

  • Revenue: EUR1395 million, +1.4% year-on-year;
    • Inflight sales: EUR9.4 million, -20.0%;
  • Operating costs: EUR1311 million, +2.4%;
    • Fuel: EUR355.807 million, 320.926;
    • Airport and handling charges: EUR271.411 million, 278.512;
    • Labour: EUR126.7 million, +4.4%;
  • Operating profit: EUR101.2 million, +4.5%;
  • Net profit: EUR66.6%, +120%;
  • Passenger numbers: 10.7 million, -5.0%;
  • Passenger load factor: 84.5%, +0.4 ppt;
  • Yield per passenger: EUR121.79, +6.0%;
  • Yield per RPK: EUR 9.29 cents, +11.0%;
  • Revenue per ASK: EUR 7.70 cents, +3.8%;
  • Cost per ASK: EUR 7.06 cents, +2.5%;
