airBaltic welcomes CS300 aircraft in Riga

airBaltic welcomed (30-Nov-2016) the arrival of the world's first Bombardier CS300 aircraft in Riga on 30-Nov-2016. As previously reported by CAPA, the maiden commercial flight is scheduled for 14-Dec-2016. airBaltic will launch twice daily Riga-Amsterdam service with the 145 seat CS300 aircraft on 14-Dec-2016 - see Route Changes Table for more information. airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss said: "Bombardier's CS300 airliners are integral to the execution of airBaltic's business development strategy Horizon 2021 and fleet optimisation plan." airBaltic is the launch operator for the CS300 aircraft, and has ordered 20 CS300 aircraft.
