AirAsia Japan to change name to Vanilla Air from Nov-2013, details to be released in mid Sep-2013

AirAsia Japan will change its name to Vanilla Air from 01-Nov-2013 following the dissolution of the JV between parent company ANA Holdings and AirAsia, according to the Nikkei . The carrier said it will focus on overseas tourist destinations including Guam and Hawaii. A detailed report is expected to be released in mid Sep-2013. AirAsia Japan will cease operations on 26-Oct-2013 with Vanilla Air to commence operations in late-Dec-2013.
