AirAsia Group to reach 300 A320s by 2021, 333 by 2022

AirAsia Group head of strategy Subashini Silvadas, speaking at the CAPA Fleet & Finance Summit, stated (02-Mar-2017) the Group now plans to reach 300 A320s by 2021 and 333 aircraft in five years by 2022, a marked increase from 176 at the end of 2016. She said the airline is "looking at accelerating growth" due to good key drivers from financial growth in 2016.
