Air Zimbabwe receives first 777-200ER

CAPA - Centre for Aviation stated (20-Jan-2020) Air Zimbabwe received one Boeing 777-200ER (Z-RGM, MSN 28421), as recorded by the CAPA Fleet Database. The aircraft was previously in service with Malaysia Airlines. Zimbabwe's First Vice President Constantino Chiwenga stated Air Zimbabwe is expected to receive additional aircraft in Feb-2020 (ZBC, 20-Jan-2020). Mr Chiwenga said: "We are dedicated to reviving our national airline", and added: "We are optimistic that this equipment will go a long way in unlocking value in our aviation industry".
